Can 'replace_with_first_in_nav' send you to the first published page?
Hi,
I'm trying to use the attribute 'replace_with_first_in_nav' to send people to the *latest* news item. My sitemap is like this:
Home
About
News
-News 1
-News 2
-News 3
-News 4
Contact
However, when clicking on the News link in my main nav, the 'replace_with_first_in_nav' sends visitors to the first subpage as displayed in the site map (i.e. News 1).
Is there a way to send people to the latest news subpage (i.e. News 4) other than having to rearrange the news subpages in the Sitemap area of the admin end each time a new news page is added?
Thanks
osu

Well, anything can be done, however, I can't think of a really easy way to do this automagically.
You could set a redirect up on the news page and manually update it everytime you create a new news item (tedious) or you could also have an event that would update the redirect for you when a page of a specific type was created.
If you need this building for you and could convince your client to pay for it, then I can help you out? Send me a PM if you're interested and I'll get you a quote...
