Can Concrete5 do this?

Is it possible for concrete5 to display a page with multiple galleries embedded, with a single photo leading to each gallery? I'm hoping I can use concrete5 to somewhat replicate my current photo gallery web page:http://dmmphotography.com/Travels/index.html...

Is this possible with the tools/blocks available or will something custom need to be coded?

Yes that is possible, but some customization might still be needed.

Have you checked out the Marketplace? There are a bunch of gallery add-ons in there, and also page list templates (probably one with just thumbnails as links, like http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/thumbview-template/... ).

I used, with a small modification, Sortable Fancybox Gallery ( http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/sortable-fancybox-galle... ) on this page to open three different galleries.
