Can Google index the contents of PDFs etc in concrete5?

Hi all
I've just had a thought, following on from integrating Google search into my site - because files use c5's internal naming system like this:
http://www.site.com/index.php/download_file/12/...
will Google properly follow those URLs and index the files at the end of them?
I ask because the indexing of the content inside PDFs and DOCs is important in terms of users being able to find things inside such files.

Google can follow this links and will understand they are PDFs. The drawback is potential keywords lost in the URL.
