Ok......... I use bluehost and I got concrete5 from there simple scripts option Its all down loaded onto blue host I can see it there but when I go to the page and type in my user name and password it says there is no name or password matching ( which explains why I couldn't find the dashboard) but I have a profile so obviously having a profile and an account are not the same thing I get that what I don't get is were did I go wrong This is just nuts like I'm missing a page or something. Is there a manual for this because I missed the concrete5 for dummies ebook.

Try the forgot password link, if you used your email when setting it up, it'll send you your pass or a link to reset it.

By the way, there's been a bunch of people who've had problems with simplescript installs so beware. I sent them an email, others have too and I don't believe anyone has heard back.
fyi.

OK OK thank you so much for all your help ryan , BUT apparently I thought since I had figured out how to make a simple web site using html that I could now jump into the ring with the big dogs, SO if you will excuse me I'm going to vacate the scene sweep up whats left of my pride toss it into the trash can and go back to changing diapers and washing dishes like a house wife should. I guess thats why they have collage degrees for this kinda stuff ...........because not just any old monkey can do it. thank you again for all your help

Well, I wasn't a housewife but ...
You just keep messing with things and asking questions. Patience is your friend.

Have you setup a demo on our site?
https://www.getconcrete5.com/index.php/tour/demo/...

At least you'll get a properly installed ready to go place to click around & learn...

Best of luck,
Ryan

Willona,
Concrete5 makes it really easy to get a site up with little or no web design/programming knowledge at all! With a little more patience you can make C5 work for you, there are plenty of people here to help.

Were you ever able to get into the admin area of your site? If not where are you at on that..

If you did get in, are you having trouble in a specific area of concrete5 that we can help you with?
