Hello!
on a clean install of 5.7 i try to add or delete a page and gives me this error message:
{"error":{"message":"An exception occurred while executing 'select cID, msLanguage, msCountry from MultilingualSections where cID = ?' with params [\"175\"]:\n\nSQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'DB-xeir-atm.MultilingualSections' doesn't exist"},"errors":["An exception occurred while executing 'select cID, msLanguage, msCountry from MultilingualSections where cID = ?' with params [\"175\"]:\n\nSQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'DB-xeir-atm.MultilingualSections' doesn't exist"]}

Still, i am able to copy / move or rename the pages.
Please advice
Thank you
George

But, i press Check for updates and it says: No updates available.
Can i manually download the zip, and replace the /concrete folder? or some more folders?
will that do the job?

You can view this tutorial for upgrading your 5.7 install!

http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/how-to-ma...

I followed the instructions exactly and when i went to the link to upgrade it gave me :
Access Denied
Is there any file permissions thing?
thanx

When 'upgrading' were you 'logged in'?
netart replied on at Permalink Reply
Yes, i was.
After many trials, it showed option to upgrade to 5.7.4.2, i downloaded it, it said "Backup Database", i clicked it, it says, "This option has not been implemented yet on 5.7"!!!!!!!!
Come on!!
You get warnings to backup and then it tells you "sorry, no such option yet" !!!
Well i really regret it going to 5.7.....it's absolutely stupid move to do at the moment, since it is NOT mature or ready yet, no backup, no upgrade from 5.6, no books out there...!
Anyway, back to my problem, it gives me all the time this error message:

An exception occurred while executing 'select count(cID) from MultilingualSections': SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'DB-xeir-atm.MultilingualSections' doesn't exist

Can i implant this table manually and get on with it?
Or any other ideas anyone?
Thank you all in advance
George

I don't know what version you were on, but if you downloaded from the download page (http://www.concrete5.org/get-started), you will see this message:

"Upgrading: If you are using a version of 5.7 below 5.7.3, you must update to 5.7.3 before updating to 5.7.4 or greater."

So I do hope you did this (if on a pre 5.7.3 version), before upgrading to the latest version. I haven't got any experience without doing these steps, so not sure what to do next..

Oh God...
I was on 5.7.3
went on to 5.7.4.2
Offered to update to 5.7.5.1
Did it...
And ... site is crashed : gives only this error again and again!!!!!

An unexpected error occurred.
An exception occurred while executing 'select count(cID) from MultilingualSections': SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'DB-xeir-atm.MultilingualSections' doesn't exist

PLEASE HELP!!!

As the error message says. There is something wrong with 'Multilingual'.

Your environment under 'concrete5 Overrides' is not showing even half of what many of my environments show?

Make sure you have the 'System Requirements' for 5.7. Could it be your PHP version is not 5.3.3 (even though it seems you have installed C5)?

Concrete5 Version 7 requires the following:
PHP 5.3.3. or greater
The following PHP modules:
MySQL (with PDO extensions)
DOM
SimpleXML
GD Library with Freetype
CURL
Mcrypt
PHP Safe Mode Off
PHP Memory Limit at least 64 MB (more might be required for the processing and handling of large image files.)
MySQL 5.1.5 or Higher
MySQL InnoDB Table Support

Concrete5 is run mostly on Apache 2, but will also work on IIS and Nginx.

I have installed on the same server - a shared hosting one - more than 20 C5 5.6 sites without any problem, and 5-6 sites of C5 5.7, also with no such issues, so it mustn't be the server thing.
But as you said, since its about the Multilingual Sessions table in the DBase, isn't there a way to add/edit it manually?
The funny thing is that on PHPMyAdmin, i can see all "Multilingual" tables normally...
Any ideas anyone?
