Cannot name a page "profile"

Hi,
A site I'm building needs to have a page whose address is /profile. But it looks like that is already taken by a system page. Is it unwise to change the path of that system page to something other than "profile" (in the PagePaths table of the database for example)? Is there another way around this, or am I stuck having to use a different path for my own page (e.g. "company-profile")?
