Cannot send email when recipient email contains Unicode characters.

I tried to use the following email "ścieżkibędą@yahoo.com" as the recipient email, the site is a multilingual site. All the functionality is working just fine but having a problem with sending Zend Mails.

Is there a way possible to add override mail to allow foreign characters rather throwing "Invalid header value detected" error.
