Can't edit Page Defaults

Hi,
If i go to any page type and click edit nothing happens, its as if the button isn't even working. If i roll over the edit button i only get Last edited text comes up and nothing else.
I am using bootstrap in the the theme with advanced permissions.
Can anyone shed some light on this or seen this before?
