Can't figure out how to change image thumbnail on Facebook Like Add-on

Hi, I'm a totally noob and I have spent most of the day trying to figure this out. The Facebook Like app keeps pulling random pics from my home page instead of the logo for the thumbnail or even if I try to type the URL on facebook in any way.
I see there is some code here to add to the "head" but where is that? I have looked around and I have looked in my FTP file but I don't see where I can access my home page stuff? I also read to add code or change the meta files? I tried to do that in dashboard but nothing happened. I'm really at the end of my rope because I can't launch my page until I get this fixed. Getting people to share my site on Facebook is important becuase most of the site's users are there now.

I was also pointed to some object documentation on Facebook but I couldn't figure out where to go to change the code for that either?
I am completely at a loss as to where to go or how to change this simple thing. Sorry to sound stupid but I really have no clue where to start to fix this?
