Can't set permission on Global Area's

Hi,

I would like to make it possible for my 'admin' group to edit the main area but not the navigation and footer area. But I can't set permissions on from the admin account.

Does anyone have an idea to fix this? I really don't want my admin group to see the red-box area's.

Have you tried adding the blocks to a stack, then setting the permissions on the stack to view only for that group? Also Check that the global area itself is set to view only for that group.
