Changes to block within package not showing on site

I've hit yet another hurdle.. :(
I have updated a block within a package on my c5 site. I have added some JS code into the view.php file and it simply won't show on my site.
I have:
1. updated "Cache & Speed Settings" so that "Block Cache" and "Overrides Cache" are both set to "Off".
2. Cleared the site cache
3. Cleared my browser cache
4. Went to dashboard, block types, "myblockname" and clicked "refresh".
I am hoping this is something obvious I am missing that an experienced c5 user may be able to point out?
Or any pointers on what else I can check?
