Changing an Area Handle

Hi. I'm editing a site that has no 'Main' editable area. I want to rename an existing area ('Content') to 'Main' without losing the existing content. I have changed the template area 'Content' to 'Main' then updated all areas in the Areas table where arHandle='Content' to arHandle='Main', but my content's still missing... any ideas? Thanks

Are also used in other tables.
