Community Connection Help
Permalink
So I have a new site that was developed in C5 for my corporation. I am looking to add a few add ons to the site but C5 has the site listed as 'not connected to the community" (In my dashboard under site wide settings, the error message reads "The base URL of your site does not match a registered instance of the site. Please click below to authenticate your site again.")When I click "Connect to Community", I get a dialogue asking me for credentials to an existing C5 account with this disclaimer - "You must enter the username and password of a valid concrete5.org account. This user account must be associated with the project as an owner or developer."
The designer/developer that built this site it is no longer with the company. I have asked him for these credentials but he says he used his own personal account to purchase/download the add ons he used for the site, but never officially registered the corporate site on C5. Do I simply need access/credentials to his personal site?
In the absence of an answer, I have built my own C5 account and listed the corporate site in my profile, but can find no way to include this site under my name as an "owner" or "developer". Therefore, I cannot connect to the community and have no access to add ons or the marketplace. Any help here? Thanks in advance!
