Complete site wiped out !?

Permalink
Website hits Bermuda Triangle.
Yesterday I checked a site of mine; nothing wrong with it. Today I want to change some stuff and the complete site is gone on the web; the screen is completely blank and I get an HTTP 500 error.

Through Filezilla I check if there's anything, but the site seems to be there, and everything is there with no fake index or anything. Subpages that were documented in google are also not available. Called the provider, and they had no clue whatsoever.....

Any of you ever had this problem before ?? Solutions ??

Thanks, Pim.

Do you run this off your own server or shared hosting?

Could it be that the provider has changed something in your server configuration?

Have you tried turning off pretty urls and seeing if ths site becomes accessible?

If all the files are there, and no one has gained access to your website, it sounds like server configuration has gone squiffy...

Hi Jebediah;

thanks for your post;

provider's still looking into it; I can't get into the dashboard, so can't turn it off.

I am waiting on the provider's response, I'll see...

Thanks anyway, the pretty url-thing, I'll keep it in mind if i'm able to get in...
