Concrete 5 with Go Daddy

Permalink
Hello all:

I recently uploaded and upacked Concrete 5 to my Go Daddy site and followed the instructions on this post:

http://help.godaddy.com/article/4675?locale=en...

I've setup the MySQL Db and added the cgi.fix_pathinfo = 1 to the php.ini file. However,... no luck getting to the C5 installation screen when I try to goto my site URL? What am I missing? Any thoughts on troubleshooting would be appreciated.

So I'm partially there and now have a path parsing issue. New error is "concrete 5 cannot parse PATH_INFO or ORIG_PATH_INFO information provided by your server" Any thoughts from the guru's out there?

First issue was simple. I needed to update the domain's A-record. Here are the steps in case any of you are having the same issues on Go Daddy.

To Modify an A Record

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager. The Domains page displays.
3. Do one of the following:
* From the Tools menu, select DNS Manager, and then click Edit Zone for the domain name you want to update.
* Click the domain name you want to update and, in the DNS Manager section, click Launch.

4. In the A (Host) section, click the A record you want to edit.
5. Edit any of the following fields:

* Host โ€” @
* Points to โ€” Enter the IP address your domain name uses for this host record.
* TTL โ€” 1 hour

6. Click Save Zone File, and then click OK.
