concrete5 now available on the Windows Web Gallery

One of our 2011 goals has been greater available everywhere, including official support for hosting on Windows (in IIS). It's with that in mind that I want to announce that concrete5 is now available via Microsoft's Web Platform Gallery.

Microsoft's Web Platform is a way of easily packaging and installing open source web applications within the Microsoft server environment.
It's definitely strange to see concrete5 listed on a microsoft.com website, but the Web Gallery is a very cool product for Windows-based web developers, as is WebMatrix (their integrated web application building environment) which makes use of it. If you're on Windows or ever deploy to Windows servers, you should definitely check it out.
Oh, and any positive reviews you want to add to our entry on microsoft.com would be very helpful – I'd love to get this entry featured. Some of the featured entries have hundreds of thousands of downloads.

Me too. Hope to see it featured soon.
For some client work, I was able to install C5 through WebMatrix last summer.
But, it seems like C5 has disappeared (other than the Japanese version) from the WebMatrix site. The link below links to a removed page.
Any update?

Yeah, what's up with that? I was hoping to get it working on IIS.
Around the time of 5.6 I tried (in vain) to get MS to accept our latest release. We went back and forth but I every time I updated the archive something about it was wrong. I had some inquiries in but they were ultimately never responded to.
I know the concrete5 Japanese team has a version of concrete5 in that's later than this, so I know it's possible, but we haven't been able to do it. It'd be great if somebody could get this in there, perhaps with 5.6.2.2 when it comes out next.
