Connect to the Community

I'm having a problem of connecting to the Community. I'm testing a local site. From my Dashboard, Sitewide Settings, I choose "Connect to Community", I type my concrete5 username and password, hit Connect Site button. Then I'm directed to my site's login page, however the site is not connected to the Community instead I'm asked the same questions... Then, my account's Project page, I see multiple Projects linked to the same local site. It seems every time I try to connect site, the new project was created and linked, but not showing up in my Dashboard.
How do I solve this looping problem?

Have you tried to connect using a different browser? I was experiencing the same problem while using Firefox 6 beta on os X until I tried using Google Chrome to connect to the community. I now have a working connection and have disabled all of the duplicate project pages. I could not find an option to completely delete the duplicate project pages, but at least they are no longer in the active project list.
Thank you Zowen! It worked the first time on Google Chrome!
I'm glad it worked for you too rakuenblue. Could you please post the browsers were you getting the error with?
It was Firefox 5.0.1. / Mac OX 10.6.8.
I'm having the same problem with Firefox 6.0 and Mac OsX 10.5.8
I tried Firefox 6 Chrome and IE 9 - everytime the same result...
"Ihre Seite ist nun mit der concrete5 Community verbunden."
("Your site is now connected to the concrete5 community.")
and on the same site there is the "Connect to Community" button...
Every attempt is shown in my project list with the site but with no version(installed version 5.2.1 - not updated)...
I'm at a loss what to do...

Hi,
Been struggling with this for ages, I ave tried different browsers and tried deleting the values from the Config table, every time I get:
You must login with a username that is an owner or editor of this project.
Pretty sure no one else has done anything like that with it.... there is no one else working on it!
