Contact form doesn't sent emails

Hello everyone!!!
I created some contact form with name, email, subject and message fields and check option named "notify me when users submit this form" and insert my gmail@gmail.com address.
I sent 10-15 and didn't get any email messages.
Where is a problem?

I had similar problem and no one had a solution. I had to conclude that the basic form does not work properly. You can see all of my pain here:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/form-not-sending-em... . . . you may need to buy and try the extended form, but I don't know if that works properly either. You are not alone, for what that is worth.
So, as I see there is no way to setup this form to work propertly
To be optimistic, I'll say I just have not found a solution yet. Maybe a work-around lies here . .http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/block_requests/contact-fo... . . (the attachment is with the first reply) I am not an expert so it is not clear to me what I can do with this information, or if it would solve my form problem.
Or maybe this bit of info in another post is a possible solution . ."It has been a PHP configuration problem. The PHP email-functions had been disabled by default and needed to be enabled by the webspace-provider. Now everything is working fine." (he says).
