Contact From not Submittiing to Email Address

Hi there,
I know some have experienced a similar problem as I have tried to find the answer in the forums however i cant find anything quite the same as mine.
I have used the standard contact from concrete has and i have set up the questions etc as I want them and have selected the forward response to email section and typed in the address. all going well so far.
Sumbitted a test, and this comes striaght through to the 'form results' section of the dashboard, but doesn not come to email (inbox or junk/spam)
I have read to check the logs section (results>logs) but it says logs are empty. Any ideas? I'm stumped.

may be a server issue.
thank you. I have contacted the host regarding the server and they have asked me to supply the email address that concrete is sending the from from. I dont know how to find this out as I thought this was a function coded in php and not an actual address, any ideas?
This did turn out to be a server error. Turns out the email address registered as login to your site is used to send the mail and the server I'm using was blocking this. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
