Content editor - How can I insert canonical URLs instead of cID=xxx ?

Every time I use the Add Link button in the Content editor, I get thehttp://mysite.com/index.php?cID=196... version of a link. Is there anything I can do to make it default to the canonical URL?

Does it remain a CID link after you save the block? C5 uses placeholders for all links that should convert to the canonical url when it is viewed by a normal user.

Aha - you're right. They are converted in the actual HTML output. That's a relief....

Thanks.

Also turn on "pretty url", it's better. I don't know why they don't have that option on by default.
