Converting html site to C5

Hi I'm new to C5 and so far it looks great but I'm trying to convert an old html site to C5. I'm using the green salad as a base and have changed the header etc. but i have a brown/green left side bar and cannot find the css to change the colour and size. It's an image of the theme: images/central_left_columns_bg.jpg

I had the same problem, but somewhere in the CSS that image is loaded as background. (It's also the background for the main content area.)

Thanks Maynar, I looked at that, but the image was nothing like I expected. However I renamed it and yes it has taken it out.
