Core commerce: change the thumbnail and full size

Is there a setting (or anywhere in the code) where I can change the thumbnail size and the full image size?
To me it looks like if you upload a full-size image into "thumbnail" concrete 5 shrinks it down to a specific size - is this correct? If so, is there a way to set a different default height and width for the thumbnail?
