Country dropdown list in forms

Is it possible to insert a country dropdown list through the standard form block? I have a client who wants visitors to select from a country list rather than typing in a country name.

Has anyone done this before?

Has anyone utilized the countries helper in standard forms. I understand that some coding changes may be required and would appreciate any advice.

Just add a Select Box in the form and add all the countries you need?

How embarrassing? That is just way too simple. I can't believe I did not think of that!!! No code changes required.
