Create a fee-based online training course

Hi All,

I've got a customer interested in creating an online course that they'd like to charge for. I've been looking through various Add-Ons in the Marketplace to see if there was anything that would work, but haven't found anything yet.

The C5 Form could certainly be used to create the test/quiz... but then what about "grading" it (i.e. having it automatically mark answers as right/wrong, etc)?

I'd like to possibly "secure" each "course" so that the site visitor would have to pay (via PayPal most likely) before gaining access.

So I'm curious if anyone else has done something similar to this using Concrete5 and/or if anyone has any thoughts.

Thanks!

- John

There are no actual course management add-ons in the marketplace. However, there is a course enrollment management add-on:

The only thing I can think of to do to create a course would be to create pages with pagination (since lessons go in a chronological sequence). Here is a pagination add-on:

Access to these pages could be restricted to members who are in a paid membership group only, in which case you may consider either of these 2 add-ons:

However, there are no quiz / assessment add-ons that I know of. I do, however, happen to be working on a "quiz master" addon! Not sure when that will be done, though.

growthcurve,

Thanks for the pointers. I'll take a closer look at these Add-Ons to see if they will work for this specific customer. I appreciate the help!

And add me to any notification list you've got for your "quiz master" add-on! I'd be interested in knowing more about is as it comes closer to reality!

Thanks, again!
