Creating a page with a Buy Now PayPal button

I am very new to C5 yet I have considerable experience with php. Adding a Buy Now button would be a snap including storing some data in MySQL.
One task my client needs is to have a page where payment can be made for 1 to n tickets. Another would be making a donation of $nnn. Both of these would be a snap with direct coding using php. Are there examples where pages like these are built? Granted, I do not have MVC experience, so I am hoping that this will not put me at a great disadvantage.
For the simple things, C5 has met all expectations!!
