Creating sign in and subscribe pages

I have a site which has two buttons - Login and Sign In.
I want the Login to go to a registration form and the Sign In to go to the C5 login page. Then people have access to pages with permissions restrictions on them.

I guess the Login can go to a simple form page but what do I code for the Sign In button to go to the login page?

Is this better done with a blog-style registration block - except people will just be browsing normal info pages on the site?

I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at, but maybe this will help: in order to let people register on your C5 site, you need to enable registration (it's disabled by default). Enable it by going to Dashboard -> Users and Groups -> Login and Registration tab -> Registration box, and change "Registration is disabled" to one of the other three options.

Now, people can register an account athttp://yoursite.com/index.php/register/,... and they can login athttp://yoursite.com/index.php/login/....

Hope this gets you on the right track.
