Custom page type, attributes, template but no inline editing.

I have made a custom "Product" Page Type with 5-6 custom attributes (photo,pdf file, category, etc.), a themes/base/product.php template where I print out all my custom attributes. Now in edit mode i can't inline edit the "Product" attributes, the only way to change the contents is to click on "Properties". Could it be possible to make the products pages be inline editable?

If you've added the attribute to the pages, I think the dashboard is the only way to edit.

You could write a custom block to do that for you (or there may be one in the marketplace you could adapt).
