Custom Templates inheriting each others PHP...

I have two custom templates of a block appearing on the same page. The view.css of both were inheriting from each other, so I have changed the names of each class/div in both the view.css and view.php files of each custom template. However, the view.php files are still inheriting from each other. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Thanks

The custom template CSS appears as it should just after I have updated the template, while the block is still in edit mode, but as soon as click 'Exit Edit Mode' and 'Publish my Edits' the correct styling disappears.

I have tried clearing the cache, but it doesn't help...
