Custom Themes

Hi Everyone,
Concrete5 was suggested to me by a colleague for an open source CMS I should check out.

I have downloaded it and installed everything pretty easily now I am to the point where I want to start testing some custom them builds, what would be the best way for a first time user of Concrete5 to start building a custom theme?

Also if I want to put something on every page/post such as global navigation what is the best approach for that?

Thank you.

Here are a couple of tutorials to put you in the right direction-

http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/pages/themes/...

http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/designers/make-a-the...

For your second question-

You'll want to edit the page-type defaults (all edits will auto-apply to every new page of that page type thereafter)

Go to- Dashboard>> Page Types>> Defaults (change the defaults for each page type accordingly)

Hope that helps.

Best wishes,
