Date Navigation breaking when selecting a location to display pages from in sitemap.

Hello,
When I go to select a page from the sitemap to choose where pages are shown from I get a weird issue. Basically it seems as if the usual sitemap popup is not working. Please see attached screenshots of the issue. The only thing I get in the console is a warning about $ not being defined when I am taken to the sitemap (see screenshot) which is obviously down to jquery not being included on the page. I imagine this is down to something breaking the lightbox popup however I can't see anything obvious that would be causing it.
I have this issue both when adding the block on a page or into a stack.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried to replicate this problem in another browser and/or on another computer? That might help to isolate possible browser or software issues.
This is a known bug, in fact there are a couple of active bug reports concerning the Date nav block, hopefully they will be squashed soon.
Might be a good idea to monitor these two bug reports as sometimes a solution or workaround is discovered and shared on the bug report:
