Default sub page on dashboard

Hi,

I have a new package that works great, I have added menu item on the dashboard and this shows four sub pages, how can I make one of those sub pages the default when you click the menu item on the left. So for example when you click on System and Maintenance it shows Jobs as the default page.

How can I do this with my package?

http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/page-redirect-to-newest-child/ is a newer add-on in the marketplace that seems to accomplish this.
