First of all I would like to apologise if this has been answered already. I've found a few options but none seem to quite do what I need.

A site I am building contains regular page updates that become obsolete after certain dates and as the page numbers grow, automation is becoming necessary. I was wondering if there was any way of deleting pages after a set date via a page attribute (date handler)?

I am a complete newbie to PHP and I was hoping someone might be able to give me an easy to follow option for getting this to work.

My hope is that this won't just hide the page from pagelists etc but delete the page from the sitemap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
