Delete folder containing aliases bug

Permalink
If you delete an alias on it's own the original file it points to does not get deleted. This is good.

However, if you have a folder that contains aliases and you delete the folder all of the original files the aliases point to get deleted. This is bad.

I just lost 2 days worth of work :-|

are you talking about files or pages? what's a folder?

I think you're saying if you delete a aliased page, it doesn't delete the original = good.

if you delete a folder that contains aliased to other pages, it deletes the original pages??

if that is the case, you should post it to bugs and have someone confirm the behavior and we'll fix it in the next version.

thx

1) Dashboard -> Sitemap
2) Add page called test1
3) Add page called test2
4) Click test1 -> Move/copy
5) Click test2 -> Alias

Note: test2 now contains an alias of test1 inside it.

6) Delete test2

Result = test2 is deleted but so is the test1 page

have reported this as a bug (accidentally setting the priority to low instead of high!)
