Deleting a file from the front end

Hi all
I'm looking to create an interface whereby users can delete files they've uploaded using @johnthefish's Front End File Uploader. The idea is that they use that to upload photos to a gallery, but they need a facility to delete those files too. I know he has another addon, Fileset Tools, but that does much more than I need -- all I want is a small icon that will delete an individual file, rather than needing to manage a whole file set (the images are associated by user ID rather than file set anyway, so that wouldn't work -- the site has > 700 users).
Has anyone managed this or have any tips?
