Dependent Fields

Dependent fields are fields of data (as in a form) that are dependent on another.
An example of this would be if someone selected 'USA' as a country on a form, the states would appear below that. This means that all the state are dependent on the country field. Further yet... perhaps cities could be dependent on a state.
That said, does anyone know how this can be accomplished? Are there any blocks that support this?
