Design tool styles disapearing on blocks

Hi I have been experimenting recently with the design tools on blocks, they are a quick useful way to add new styles to the blocks especially for our clients to quickly add a coloured block to the pages, one problem I've found though is that the styles drop off and disappear.

Has anyone else noticed or found this problem?

Keen to get this sorted if it is

I have found that if a block is moved on the page then the design is being dropped.
I have not had the time to fully explore, but I think this could be a bug (5.6.2.1)
