Device Visibility in header

I've been trying to get some blocks to disappear from the <header> by using the 'device visibility' checkboxes, but the blocks never go. Does the 'device visibility' feature only apply to blocks in <main>?

ETA: adjusted subject since forum can't handle < in that field.

Hi Gondwana,

There appears to be an open bug report for this. I confirmed the issue in 5.7.5.8 and marked it as still valid. I recommend confirming the bug for those experiencing it.

Thank you, Sir. I should perhaps have found that for myself (I'm still struggling with site navigation). I attempted to register confirmation of the bug.
