I have my website set up with ecommerce and the digital download add-on.
I am selling videos on my website. The videos are anywhere from 500mb to 1gb in size. I have uploaded a lot of the videos and added products that are associated with the videos and put them on my website. I uploaded the videos through filezilla.
The trouble I am having is that on some of the videos, when a customer purchases the video they get an email with the links to download the video but when they try to download they are having trouble. The videos will not fully download, they stop after 50mb and will not continue, they cannot download more than one video at a time and they are taking a long time to download. I have one customer that has a real fast internet connection and an 800mb video is taking 2 hours to download.
Please help me figure out what is wrong. The videos are in avi. format when I upload them. Do you think I should zip. them and try that?
