Direct to NOT Homepage?

Hey Guys,
I'm having a weird IE bug with my homepage right now.
I've discovered that adding a new page with the same page type as the homepage solves the problem. In order for my users not to have anymore downtime, I want to rebuild the homepage and redirect visitors to this new page.
Is there a simple way to direct visitors to a page other than the homepage upon arriving at the site?
