Display thumbnail of latest image

Hello, this seems like a simple function, but I can't find how to do it. Hope someone can help:

I'd like to display a thumbnail of the latest image in a set on my homepage, linking back to that page in my gallery. Nothing fancy, simply to display the last-added, or perhaps 2 or 3 with a customisable thumbnail size.

Is that possible?

the page list teasers add on, free in the marketplace, would be a good solution for this!!

Thanks for your reply, however I don't really see how this would do what I want. I simply need to display a sizeable thumbnail of the last image added (or last few perhaps).

I understood your question as: You have a gallery of images with a page for each image. You want to display a set number of the latest images posted... Please correct me if I'm wrong!!

Another, more advanced option similar to page list teasers would be "Page List Thumbnail Views". This will probably give you a better idea what I was suggesting!!

Oh I see, no I'd rather just pull the thumbnail from an image set rather than the gallery page itself.
