Display sub-pages in main navigation
Permalink
Hi,
My question is (hopefully) a simple one; is it possible by one site-wide alteration to get all sub-pages listed using the autonav block, so that I can style them like Suckerfish dropdown lists?
I can do this on a page-by-page basis by editing the page, clicking on the Header Nav block, selecting edit and then changing the Display Pages and Sub-Page Levels dropdowns to Display All, but is there a way of doing this for all pages in a theme?
I've read other posts on the topic but they talk of copying one or more of the concrete autonav block files into the block folder and then editing them to make it work, but is there an easier way that doesn't seem like such a 'fudge'?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Tony.

Hi Frz, and thanks for the link.
Unfortunately when viewing the video it freezes at 1:32, which seems to imply it's corrupted.
:(
Any other suggestions where I might learn more about page defaults?

Hi Franz,
I figured out how to change the page defaults from working on from where the video froze and searching for the settings I needed.
I have tried the video on Firefox on both a Mac and PC, Safari on a Mac and Opera on a PC and all seem to freeze. It's about 50 seconds in on the non-HD version and 1:32 on the HD version. I could have tried IE but I'd never be that desperate! ;)
Anyway, I was trying to add a Suckerfish-style dropdown menu and read a post recommending the Superfish jQuery plugin so I've used this - brilliant!
I'm really new to C5 but perhaps I'll write a tutorial on how I did it, the topic of Suckerfish menus seems to be a popular one.
All the best,
Tony.

I have a client right now that needs a drop down menu. Could someone please walk me through how to do this? It would be much appreciated!
