Doctrine embeddable not recognized

Hey guys,
I'm trying to install a pkg, with custom entity class having an @embeddable property.
Unfortunately, it seems like the embedabble property is ignored altogether.
Embedabble type is in the same namespace, in the same directory.
Anyone having experience on this matter?
