Dropdown (suckerfish) Autonav!!!!

I wish I was the guy walking everyone through the steps of implementing a drop down menu into c5 as a new block of modifying the current autonav block! But sadly i'm not...

My intent is not to post a redundant discussion, so direct me otherwise if I am!

Q: I've come across a few jems explaining the concept and process of using jquery in c5 to create a suckerfish menu (i've seen it live).

The problem is, none of them allow novice c5er's to engage. (due to lack of terms and readability)

Can anyone step up and enlighten me (hopefully us)?

ie. letting me know of a block in the market place that I carelessly looked over.

cheers!

This would be a great addition... I've tired a couple of times to get some jquery drop down's to work in themes and it hasn't worked yet. Granted I didn't try hard but I would still like there to be a simple solution to this.

I would like to have a simple drop down solution before C5 does that e-commerce solution.

How do I enable sub menus to appear in Header_nav?

They are not excluded from the nav

been working on this the past couple of days and it's pretty close to done. expect the release of this block in the next week.

I just didn't even know how to load the autonav properties where you enable the sub menu's took me a while to find it.

I saw that about a month ago Tony posted that it was close (couple days) but I didn't see any other reply or release that seemed to mention it. Is this coming along? Any expectations or is it there and I just didn't look close enough?

Thanks

much like the sink faucet dripping turning into a remodel project, the development of this block has mysteriously become dependent on some tweaks to the core (v5.3.2?)

shouldn't be long..

I just came in need of this as well. So what's the ETA for 5.3.2? Are we talking weeks or months? If it's months, then I need to implement this myself.
