E-commerce with fractional quantities

I have an e-commerce website I am developing that sells fabric. I am using the e-commerce add-on. Fabric is typically sold by the 1/2 yard, so I would like to be able to offer options of 1/2, 1, 1-1/2, etc... all the way to 16 yards. I can't figure out how to do that within the current e-commerce package. An example of what I want can be seen here:http://www.fireflyquiltshop.com/page/category.php?intCategoryID=137... or in the attached screenshot.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm sure there's a way to do this with code although it may be easy enough to note on the product pages etc that the material comes in half yard increments. Ordering 6 increments, per say, would net 3 yards...

Or set up a product for each measurement up to to the 16 and make the fabric types product options ;)

Hi Enlil, thanks for the reply. I suggested the notation on the product pages, but the client thought that would be too confusing for their customers. That is the simplest approach and may be what we end up going with.

Or sell it by the yard at a slightly discounted price and advertise in store about the deal to encourage traffic to the online store!! ;)
