Ecommerce: Discount without Coupon Code

Hi All,
I am confused about how the Discounts feature in the Ecommerce add-on works. All I want is to simply have a 20% off sale in all products in the store.

I added a "Basic Discount", entered a date range that included today, enabled it, and set it to 20%. I also left the coupon code blank because I want every customer to automatically get the discount, no matter what.

However, the prices in the store (catalog) do not reflect any discount, nor is the discount taken off during checkout. I noticed the "sale price" field in each product's Properties, but I want a discount applied to every product at once. I also noticed that if I put in a coupon code, a coupon code box would appear at checkout, then the discount would be applied. I just want the discount applied without having the coupon code.

thanks,
Bobby

I believe this is bug that's been introduced into eCommerce in a recent update, I hit the same problem you've described.

The good news is that it's been acknowledged as a bug and they've been working on it. I reckon an update will be released soon.

In the first link there is some code from both myself and Greg that you might be able to use as a temporary fix, until an official fix via an update is released.
