Dear concrete 5 community

i have had a request to produce a online cataloge for a jewelers. Under a few hundread products, i used to use volusion.com ecom system. But having been a growing fan of concrete and its community i was thinking about trying you out. I have to say tho i am a little confussed on what i need.
I guess I need the eCommerce system basic for $125 then i guess i need an online payment system for Credit card or paypal(not a fan) but i need a UK one or international they are a Uk company but can ship world wide, then do i need a post and package addon 2? as its jewellery its not big but need recorded deliverly.

Then i was looking at themes i can make my own pretty well now and can modify the basic free ones to what i want(apart from drop down menus ant got hang of that yet. BUt is it easy to do for ecom site. i would want some think that looks like this but not exact.

nice theme just not quite what the client wants.

Last how good is the backend for the client to change prices, add new products and pics once finished, as i could not find a video of that. As the pay monthly onces are very good but they cost.

Also does the analictics work on sales what producats have been looked at and the google searching?

Just an idea last?
Could you put together a basic ecome uk international pack that includes shopping basket- postage addon - stock control - basic theme (one you can edit) payment system for cc. Just an idea as i was looking into it and if i had not kept reading more i would have guessed the ecom would have included all the basic stuff above? Maybe it does?


feel free to moan at me if i am just asking stupid questions, but i was an open source(unix) deveopler long time ago(doesnt pay bills) so i love open source, and hate windows!!!
