Edit and add buttons not working | Vital error

The Edit Page and Add Page buttons in the C5 bar at the top have all of a sudden stopped working at all, no events are triggered.
I have recently tried to fix problems with my website with no luck, I reinstalled the C5 core but this did not eliminate any problems. I then tried commenting out any suspecting conflicting JavaScript such as Google+ as I recently updated my theme but nothing has worked.

Intriguingly, some pages are editable, but most are not.
