Edit bar not showing

I have both the required header and footer code but the editing bar at the top does not show on the homepage.

Any ideas please?

Check that you don't include any jquery library as C5 default has one.

You could also check that you have the necessary permission to edit the page.

There's always the possibility that you have implemented something on the home page that is breaking it. Try reverting back page versions to see if this is the case!
