edit email address in profile

Hello I am new to Concrete5 and I think its a great product. I would like my registered users to be able to edit their email address. However, the profile editing page under "members" only offers an option to change the password. How do I toggle on email address editing.

wow no help with such a basic functionality. Kinda scary..
Hmm maybe my install is borked? Its turnkey Linux upgraded to 5.6.1.2
Maybe I need to reinstall?

Yes I am talking about AFTER clicking "edit"

Ah now I see what happened. The option to edit email disappears if there is not at least one user attribute configured. I deleted both of the default attributes. This seems like a bug and can be reproduced as I have described..
