Editable image... but control the size/proportion

OK... another question in my n00b series (I've searched the Forums, but can't seem to find an answer... it's probably me, so go easy, LOL!):

I have a new site I'm designing for a friend's business. Simple, 7-8 pages, mostly text content and a "Contact Me" form. The design has their headshot in the header... not full-height/width... just as one of the elements in the header for the site.

I'd like to be able to make this an editable image, but my friend's not all that tech savvy and I'm afraid that she'll upload a new image right from her camera and stick it in there in all of it's 2000+ by 2000+ pixel glory. I know I've got to have a session with her about pixel dimensions of images and file sizes, etc., but is there a way that I can at least ensure that the display size of the image will be controlled? Like is there a way that I could just include the IMG tag in the theme file, with hard-coded height and width values, but a PHP inserted src? AND still have her be able to use the in-context editing tools to replace it with a new one?

Or am I going to have to create a custom block to do this?

Or am I just being too much of a control-freak?!?! (I can take it). LOL!

Thanks!

I'm not 100% certain about this since I've never used it myself, but it sounds like that problem might be well-suited to jordanlev's designer block add-on. Search for it in the marketplace. Perhaps Jordan (or someone who's used it) will chime in.

Steve,

Thanks for the tip. I'm just looking over the Designer Content Add-On (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/designer-content/... ) and it looks pretty cool! A great front-end for non-coders to be able to create custom blocks. Could work great... and if not for THIS specific issue with my site, for another that I hadn't even gotten to trying to code yet! ;)

Thanks!
